Learn to make your own fun quilted oven mitts from this tutorial for the Fort Worth Fabric Studio.
Hello again! This week I have a tutorial to make quilted oven mitts up on the blog at Fort Worth Fabric Studio. Check it out!
Making your own oven mitts is a great way to bring what you love (quilting) into the kitchen in a tasteful and useful way. I hope you find the oven mitt tutorial useful, and please let me know if you make a pair!

These are super cute! I need to add it to my to-do list.
I will check this tutorial out! Could use a fresh pair (they always get pizza sauce on them, don’t they??! Made the chevron hot pads from Moda Bakeshop last year and use them a lot. Always fun I think to put quilting to use in non-quilt items!
Love! My blog partner Michelle and I are posting a tut for a QAYG selvage oven-mitt next week on my Tips and Tutorials Tuesday! It’s fun to see how you’ve done yours. The use of glue is a great idea.
Oh, these look too pretty to actually use. (Guess I’d just hang them up and order out.)
Your mitts are cute! I’ve been thinking about my own oven mitts, so I will definitely pin your tutorial!

It is so chic that you can make oven mitts a work of art. Raises the bar on everything. 🙂
Any chance of purchasing your oven mitts? Do you have any to sell or a website to order from?
